Maybe you thought since Charlie Sheen and Lindsay Lohan poke fun at themselves that this fifth installment would be double the fun. Not a chance. On a scale of 1 to 10 on the laugh meter, “Scary Movie 5” is a negative 10. A stupid, unfunny and shamelessly lazy farce packed with tired, cringe-inducing jokes and horrible acting. One look at this dreadful mess will turn your whisper into a primal scream: MAKE IT STOP! Look, I’m no spoof hater. I did enjoy the first “Scary Movie” back in 2000 and I don’t mind a silly comedy every now and then. But this one is pushing it. Hey I even broke down in tears when the whole thing ended. The horror was finally over. “Scary Movie 5” is so godawful there’ll never be another Scary movie to rectify this mess. And the people behind it should never be allowed to make movies again.
