Horrible thriller finds John Cusack hired by a legendary crime boss (Robert De Niro) to complete a simple task. Then, inexplicably, the boss sends someone to keep an eye on him! Sorry excuse for a script jumps from one boring, stupid, illogical sequence to another, when it fact it has no reason to exist. Another of too many movies (“Freelancers“, “Killing Season“, “The Big Wedding“, “Red Lights“) where De Niro seems to be phoning in his performance, and it’s a sad sad thing to witness. Piece of advice: Don’t ask, don’t watch.
