“The Last Airbender” is a dreadful movie. And I think it’s the best way to describe it because quite frankly, I can’t see how anyone could enjoy it.  Directed by M. Night Shyamalan, we follow the story of Aang, a young successor to a line a avatars whose purpose is to defeat the fire nation from enslaving the air, water and earth nations. Or something like that. Why? it’s hard to know for sure. But the real question is: who cares? This awfully boring movie must be avoided at all costs; it’s based on a popular animated series and apparently, it’s the first of many sequels to come. But after this one flopped at the box office, I’m sure we won’t be seeing a sequel anytime soon (and it’s probably for the best). One of the worst movies of the year.
