He plays a lethal Las Vegas Bodyguard with a gambling problem. That’s it for subtext in this formula action swill. Why do I sound like I should expect more? Because the credits list the great Stanley Tucci as one of the characters. Yes the same Tucci who was in “Julie and Julia”, “The Terminal” and who was Oscar nominated for his role in “The Lovely Bones”. I mean it’s forgivable to watch Jason Statham in yet another crappy action movie. But dragging Stanley Tucci down with him, that’s a criminal offense. As for Statham, I offer him the following piece of advice: please stop making movies!
