Paranormal Activity 4 [2012] and The Apparition [2012] ★½

Paranormal Activity 4:In the 4th and hopefully final installment in this never-ending series (we can always hope), a new family witnesses the same bullshit when a woman and a child move in with them. You know the drill: Have something pop out in the dark. Wait for a scream. Then drag out the next surprise for an eternity. Repeat cycle. Is this really the best scare flick Hollywood could come up for Halloween? Seriously? As for future followups, I offer this plea: please stop!

Rating: 1.5/4

The Apparition: If you’re looking for a good horror movie to sink your teeth in, stay away from “The Apparition”. It stars Ashley Greene and Sebastian Stan as a young couple who find their house haunted by a malevolent spirit, one that was unleashed by some kind of a university paranormal experiment. The movie was never screened for critics. Why? Because it’s pure garbage.

Fiasco!

  1. I am loving the trend/fact you are having: Reviewing two movies in one go = No go.
