The Greatest [2010]

Following the death of a young man in a terrible car accident, his family tries to overcome their loss in vain. But everything is about to change when the boy’s pregnant girlfriend suddenly enters their shattered lives. Interesting look at grief as told from different points of view (each member of the family deals with the matter in their own way); it can be quite depressing at times, but the powerful story and the rich performances (especially Pierce Brosnan and Susan Sarandon) make this something special. It’s also important to mention that the subject of the movie won’t be everyone’s cup of coffee, but for those of you who don’t mind something engaging and thought provoking every once in a while, then this one’s for you.

Fun fact: the whole movie was shot in 28 days.
