Ben Affleck and Jennifer Lopez were dating when “Gigli” was released. I tought you should know this boring fact because quite franky, I can’t think of anything more interesting to say about this movie. There’s absolutely no plot (unless you consider cutting a dead man’s thumb a plot), the two stars have zero chemistry, and I can’t believe that Al Pacino actually agreed to make a small, and might I add, unecessary appearance as a ruthless thug. It’s a hell of a mess, and it doesn’t surprise me one bit that many consider this as one of the worst movies ever made; it’s certainly one of the funniest (and I don’t mean it as a compliment).
Fun fact: “Received such bad reviews that it was dropped by every UK cinema after only one week.”
