Much like many Netflix movies of the same genre, “Tall Girl” has a one-joke premise that reaches its full potential after 5 minutes. You may have guessed by now that Ava Michelle plays a high school girl who gets constantly bullied for being…well…tall. It’s not a good premise to begin with, and now that I’ve seen it, I can tell you that it doesn’t get better as we move along. This is yet another tedious teen comedy from Netflix that fails to bring anything new to the table. So you’ll either: 1- Fall asleep halfway through. Or 2- Tap your foot involuntarily, just waiting for it to be over. One thing’s for sure: “Tall Girl” gives Netflix movies a bad name. Skip it.
