I don’t know about you but I’ve reached a point where I can’t tell the difference between “The Divergent” series and “The Maze Runner” series anymore. These movies seem awfully similar to me and to be honest, it’s becoming redundantly redundant. Even the fact that the final chapter is being divided into two parts for the sake of box office gold pisses me off. It’s a damn shame. Shailene Woodley, who is still the best thing about this series, again plays Tris Prior, the film’s heroine. The story picks up where “Insurgent” left off, with Tris, Four (Theo James) and the rest of the gang trying to escape beyond the wall that encircles Chicago. The film peaks when Jeff Daniels, who plays the leader of the Bureau of Genetic Welfare, is onscreen. To say that nothing really interesting happens elsewhere would be an understatement. You’ve been warned. We’ll have to wait another year for the final film to come out. Frankly, I don’t give a damn anymore.
