Saw VII [2010]

Seventh installment in this endless series (will this finally be the end of Jigsaw?) has more traps, more blood but less logic than all the others. Jigsaw’s legacy is still alive, and it’s up to a new detective to put an end to all those gruesome killings. Meanwhile, a group of Jigsaw survivors gather to seek advice from Bobby Dagen, a man with his own dark secrets. How long will it be till he becomes Jigsaw’s next victim? You guessed right! Some of the scenes are way too violent (like nothing I’ve seen before), and the final revelations don’t add up, but hey it ain’t supposed to be shakespeare. Fans of the series will be more than pleased, but seriously enough already. The tag line says “The Final Chapter”, but with Hollywood, you never know. Not for the squeamish (and I mean it this time).

Fun fact: Chester Bennington (lead singer of Linkin Park) has a small role as one of Jigsaw’s victims.
