Let Me In [2010]

Unusual, one of a kind horror movie (a remake of a 2008 swedish film entitled “Let The Right One In”) about a constantly bullied young boy who develops a friendship with the new girl next door. Problem is: she’s in fact a vampire and has to drink human blood in order to survive. Complications arise when the young boy discovers her terrible secret. This isn’t your ordinary vampire flick (for those of you expecting something similar to the “Twilight” series look away fast); this is serious business (packed with plenty of edge of your seat moments) and exactly how horror movies should be. I havent seen the original work yet, but if you’re looking for something completely different from all the usual horror flicks, then I recommend you watch “Let Me In”; it’s completely absorbing, with an ingenious score by Michael Giacchino (which makes it extra fun). The last 15 minutes will leave you breathless!

hehe i’ll try to review some of the best movies I’ve seen. I have a huge collection, but I work during the day so i dnt have much time to review everything. But I’ll try my best!

  3. I really like your blog I’ve read almost 4 posts and it’s awesome so far. I know the movie is ‘old’ but watch ‘the 4th kind’ I really liked it, it’s something like a documentary, followed with real life footages and the best it’s horror 🙂 Keep up the awesome job 😀

thank u george 😀 I appreciate it! As a matter of fact, ive watched “the 4th kind” last year. I thought it was pretty creepy. But here’s what I didnt like abt it: the real footage we saw are in fact fake. I searched the internet for anything related to the events of the film, and I read somewhere that the whole film is not really based on true events. They just used that exuse to promote the film. But still, it’s a fun horror movie to watch, but I felt a little bit cheated when I realised that it wasn’t real! Keep visiting my blog and thanks again 😀

  4. yes that’s exactly what happened with me bel 4th kind! I came back and googled it, i was actually disappointed :p either way, yes anis, your blog is quite addictive!

let me in is a great movie reviving the vampire horror genre for everyone especially for our generation since we’ve seen all kinds of vampire movies and a million Dracula film with a million to go this one takes us back to the roots of vampire movies when we actually get scared and excited instead of seeing more usual vampire movies and driving us all to extreme clichés without ending
