The Twenty-First Century

The Sorcerer’s Apprentice [2010]

“I have been searching all over the world for you. You’re going to be a force for good and a very important sorcerer. But for now, you’re my apprentice.”

If you’re a fan of magic and/or Nicolas Cage, then you will probably enjoy “The Sorcerer’s Apprentice”. The way the folks at Disney have been promoting this movie made it seem like a turkey. It’s anything but. It’s actually quite enjoyable, with a delicious cast (especially Alfred Molina as the villain), and great sets. Not bad at all.

Fun fact: “In the New Testament Balthazar is one of the Three Magic Kings, aka. Three Wise Men, that made gifts to Jesus after his birth in Bethlehem.”
