Brilliant political thriller about a Ghost writer (Ewan McGregor) who is hired to write the memoirs of a former british prime minister (Pierce Brosnan who’s never been better). For the ghost, this is the opportunity of a lifetime, but he gets suspicious when he learns that the guy who was hired before him died in a weird “accident”.
The whole movie has a noirish atmosphere, and that’s exactly why it won me over completely. It’s Roman Polanski at his best, and definitely one of my favourite movies so far this year.
