Movies based on video games tend to suck. With that said, I didn’t hate “Prince Of Persia”. But I wasn’t amazed by it either. It’s a movie that could have been so much better if only they didn’t pay so much attention to those damn CGI’s. Now don’t get me wrong the CGI’s are very well done, but it’s the story that bugged me. Once the plot was settled, the rest was history as they say.

 Visually, “Prince Of Persia” is a delighful experience, but I wouldn’t pay to see it again. It would be interesting to see what fans of the video game have to say about this movie. As an unbiased viewer, I had a good time watching it, but nothing more.

    I haven’t played the video game to be honest, but people say it’s amazing. However I really enjoyed the movie, even though I had no background on PoPersia. I admire movies with “time shifting” like for instance Harry Potter 3, and how the events are all cleverly justified. I assume you get annoyed when people try to comment about your ratings, and give their own (I mean it’s your site, your opinions, you making the call, and you in charge haha) but this is a 3.5 for me.
