Rule number one: Check your brain at the door. Rule number two: Don’t ask questions. That’s the best way to enjoy this tense, ass-kicking sequel to the 2014 surprise hit “John Wick”. Like its predecessor, this one relies on non-stop gun fights to satisfy fans of B-action movies. You know who you are. I admit: I’m not the biggest John Wick fan you’ll ever meet, but I do believe that “Chapter 2” surpasses the original in every way. Keanu Reeves, never better, delivers the goods and then some. After getting rid of the bad guys who killed his dog and stole his car, Wick now finds himself back to the criminal underworld to repay a debt. Let’s just say that things don’t go according to plan and soon enough all hell breaks loose. Looking for a plot twist? You won’t find any here. But incredibly staged action scenes by director Chad Staheski (who used to be Reeves’ stunt double), and juicy performances by Keanu Reeves and a supporting cast that includes Lawrence Fishburne, Riccardo Scamarcio, Ian McShane and Ruby Rose, are more than enough to keep your blood running. There’s no keeping your eyes off “John Wick: Chapter 2”. It’s hellish good fun.
