The first real bad movie of 2017 stars non other than the legendary Nicolas Cage and…wait for it… John Cusack! Though they’re both reduced to supporting roles, you still can’t help but feel sorry for them for starring in almost anything these days, just for the sake of a quick buck. “Arsenal” is a travesty, a preposterous action thriller that only reaffirms the fact that Nicolas Cage’s career is dead and buried. He plays a crime boss with a ridiculous toupee, who decides to kidnap Mikey, a small time mobster, and hold him for ransom. Now it’s up to Mikey’s brother and a washed up John Cusack to save him. I may be making “Arsenal” sound like a movie you could enjoy on DVD with a few beers and a slice of pizza. Trust me, it’s not worth your time and money. Instead of a review, this movie deserves to be burned, just like Nic Cage’s horrible toupee. What a nightmare!
